A client school in Waltham Forest are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in their Primary setting for the rest of the academic year on a full-time basis!
The chosen Teaching Assistant will have a natural flare with young children, an ability to work professionally and a desire to become a teacher!
The role: >The Teaching Assistant will work across a class in either KS1 or KS2 (to be decided upon interviewing).>Carry out general Teaching Assistant responsibilities such as assisting the teacher, copying resources and ensuring all children are on track with their learning.>When required, the teaching assistant will take their key pupils out for 1:1 or group work sessions, ensuring all pupils are receiving the targeted support they need in difficult subjects.>Outside of classroom responsibilities, the Teaching Assistant will help with duties school-wide, such as monitoring assemblies, helping with displays and providing cover when needed.

The Teaching Assistant:>Minimum 2:1 and above in degree>Strong A-levels/GCSE's (particularly in maths, English and science at GCSE level)>Must be personable and approachable and hold a genuine passion for education.>Demonstrable experience of working with young people (desirable)
