This SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant role would suit an ambitious graduate who has experience supporting SEN children and ensure them are always supportive and nurturing to their pupils. You will be a graduate who can use your enthusiasm for your teaching and learning to ignite a thirst for knowledge in your students. We want to see a SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant with the drive to communicate effectively with colleagues, children and parents and empathise and use their SEN knowledge effectively. The school needs a SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant who has the charisma to enthuse the children and staff around them, all part of a positive working atmosphere.

As part of this school community, you will be expected to foster relationships between the home and school, ensuring total consistency for your students. It is important that you bond with the SEN students and it will be up to you to look-out for the SEN pupils safely during interactive play. In this post you will be working hard from day one to develop and improve your teaching, you will be able to draw on the advice and input of a dedicated mentor who will be an experienced member of the existing teaching staff. As a SEN/PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be developing your teaching and learning knowledge on the school's bespoke CPD course, including direct supporting from a M.
