Interim Philanthropy Fundraiser At Tomorrow's People, our mission is to empower people to build the skills and confidence they need to move into and succeed in work. We are looking for an Interim who can pick things up quickly and is not afraid to get stuck in right away. The Interim Philanthropy Fundraiser will support the Interim Philanthropy Manager and play a key role in the development of this crucial and growing income stream.It's an exciting time to join Tomorrow's People as we have a new Chair and Fundraising Committee who are very actively involved in high net worth fundraising.We need an Interim who can pick things up quickly and is not afraid to get stuck in right away. The role may become permanent after the initial 6 months but we want to keep things flexible as we grow this new income stream. This role will offer lots of opportunities for someone who wants to develop their research, writing and stewardship skills and learn from an experienced Manager. Location: Oval (Northern Line), London Contract: 35 hours per week Contract type: Fixed Term Salary: £25,000 per annum KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Sourcing new high net worth individuals ·To take a proactive and creative approach to identifying, developing and exploiting appropriate philanthropic fundraising opportunities that might provide income potential. ·To support the Interim Philanthropy Manager in working with Trustees, The Chief Executive and Directors to identify further opportunities from existing supporters, and conduct research to identify potential new funders. ·Identify new prospects and manage a growing caseload of warm as well as cold prospects ensuring all records are kept up to date and accurate forecasts can be made as required. Developing supporter relationships through excellent stewardship ·Develop stewardship plans with the Interim Philanthropy Manager, ensuring all communication is reflected in Salesforce, and deadlines are managed effectively. ·Produce key stewardship materials, including letters and reports. ·Acknowledge all gifts and pledges in a timely manner. ·Ensure that donors are properly receipted for their gifts. ·To maintain confidentiality regarding client information at all times. Donor record management (CRM) ·Create and maintain data in Salesforce that accurately details the full record of donor transactions and relationships. ·Accurately record all donations and pledges for the Philanthropy team. ·To ensure the highest standards of data capture are maintained, ensuring a complete picture of all funders and prospects. ·Manage Gift Aid declarations and support the finance team with any claims. Stewardship events ·To offer extensive support in the planning, development and delivery of stewardship events, including management of guests lists, suppliers, communications, database etc. Details of the person specification can be found in the attached job description.
