A lovely independent primary school in the London Borough of Brent is looking for an experienced lower KS2 teacher.
The role is on a permanent basis and commences on January 2018. You will not only be a full-time Year 3 teacher but also will take on a duties of a Deputy Headteacher.
This is a great opportunity to join a small but well-established team and teach a class of up to 16 children. Our client is looking for a candidate with a vast teaching experience, who has a high work-ethic and can-do' attitude. On top of this, the school is seeking a teacher who is willing to commit to the role, must have prior experience of teaching KS2 and will bring an engaging and inspiring attitude to the classroom. The role would ideally suit a very experienced teacher who is looking to gain more experience in a senior leadership role.
The successful candidate will ensure and encourage high ambitions for what pupils can achieve and liaise closely with their parents on how their children can further progress in their life. You will be in charge of planning, preparation and assessment as well as monthly reports. When necessary, you will also be required to liaise with external parties and organizations.
The successful applicant must have: - A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.) - A minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience. - Knowledge of KS2 National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work. - A valid DBS or willing to undertake one. - Eligible to work in the UK. - Excellent teaching references- Strong behaviour management skills.
Additionally, the candidates must be available for interviews immediately, as the school would like to appoint as soon as possible.
